SARAH BRITT
YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Sarah is a teacher at heart, and her journey through yoga teacher training and personal practice inspired her to share the benefits of yoga with students of all ages. After completing her YTT, she transitioned from a classroom teaching position to becoming a Health Educator for children in kindergarten through grade five in Plymouth Public Schools. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the idea of a triangle—the strongest shape in the world—representing social, emotional, and physical wellness. This holistic approach is reflected in her classes, where she blends strength, mobility work, and chakra opening into a dynamic and creative vinyasa flow.
Sarah began teaching yoga in 2018 and has since pursued various yoga sculpt and power training programs to continuously evolve as an instructor. In 2022, she earned her certification as a Master Power Yoga Instructor through Open Doors. Beyond studio classes, she also works privately, leading yoga sessions for corporate retreats, conventions, and small groups.
Students joining Sarah on the mat can expect carefully curated soundtracks designed for the experience, an invigorating and breath-centered practice, and a supportive environment where they can sweat, breathe deeply, and grow together as a team. In addition to yoga, she deepens her personal practice through daily devotion to Sattva Kriya meditation, following the Yogananda lineage, into which she was initiated in April 2022. She loves incorporating both invigorating and calming breathwork (Pranayama) into her classes, offering a balance of energy and mindfulness.
From the moment she stepped into Strive, Sarah knew she had found her new yoga home and is beyond thrilled to be part of such an incredible yoga dream team. When she’s not on her mat or in the classroom, she can be found at the beach or chasing adventures with her three children and her Bernese Mountain Dog, Gronk.
Three words to describe Sarah’s classes are: powerful, playful, and mindful.
